There is a part in are music video when Alex is starting to lose it and he starts braking things. In this section for the music video Alex will be looking in the mirror and he will see him self turning grey, he will then punch the glass and smash it. We will have Alex looking in the actual mirror and go to punch it, we will then in the editing make it look like he has punched the mirror as we will replace the glass mirror with sugar glass. He will then punch the sugar glass and this will smash. So it will look like he punched the actual mirror.
We have chosen to use sugar glass, so that the mirror will look like it have been punched, but it will be safe as sugar glass is a fake glass that is made from kitchen ingredients. It's used in film stunt because the edges aren't as sharp and dangerous.
The ingredients to make sugar glass are:
- 2 Cups water
- 1 Cup light corn syrup
- 3 1/2 Cups sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of tartar
- Lots of cooking spray or tin foil
