Audience Research

We asked another person in our target audience range, this time it was an 18 year old teen who is a big killers fan, we made them watch our animatic and then asked him a series of questions which were:

1)      What do you like about the animatic?

He answered: I really liked it, I thought that the music was right in sinc with the constant changing camera angles and scenes. I Also like the setting which you have chose to use for the performance as it is unique because I don’t think I have ever seen a music video where this happens, usually they’re just in a little dark room or somewhere not particularly interesting. Another thing which I liked as well was the fact that the artist had put arrows on to make it easier to understand what was happening.

     2)      What didn't you like about the animatic?

He answered: I don’t really not like anything, a minor thing which I didn't like was the fact faces hadn't been drawn, but that’s nothing major as I can understand why they haven’t been drawn because it would be so repetitive having to draw one on every shot.

3)      Do you understand the narrative?

He answered: At first I couldn't really understand as it is quite complicated, but the further the video went on I started to understand what was happening, but I think when I get to see the final product the narrative will be very clear.
